We had big plans for today but it turns out everything is closed on Mondays. So, this afternoon we drove over to Virginia Beach to check it out.

It was even windier than yesterday.

There is so much Naval presence around here. It’s amazing. This monument by local artist Michael Maiden was one of my favorites.

We had an amazing dinner at No Frills Bar and Grill. Not only did we have great crab cakes but we also experienced our first Potato Perogies (Pierogi). These are potato dumplings and were covered in cheddar cheese, sour cream, bacon and green onions. YUM!

The finality for the day was this bumpersticker we saw as we were leaving.
