Cycled 43 miles

Not much to report today. We biked north from Middlebury to Essex, a town that’s 8 miles east of our starting point in Burlington. We are staying two nights here at the Essex Culinary Resort and Spa. It was a pretty fast ride and we got here around 1pm (can’t check in until 4pm). So we congregated in The Tavern on site for a very slow leisurely lunch, then a dip in the hot tub.
