Walked 5 miles

Today was a day of rest and relaxation at last. Middlebury is a lovely town where Middlebury College is located. There are so many old churches here, all within a few blocks of each other. Otter Creek flows through the middle of town.

Just a lazy day for us.

Even this little pooch LuLu was relaxing – asleep with her bone still in her mouth.

We did see one interesting site here.

Meet Draft Trash, the local garbage and recycle hauler. Pretty cool, eh?

And speaking of relaxing, this is where I perched on a perfect Adirondack chair and stitched to my hearts content. (You can see where these chairs are in the last picture I posted on yesterday’s blog.)

Tomorrow we ride north 43 miles to our last stop – Essex, Vermont.
